For the LGBTQ+ people who have always walked through our doors, Pride Month isn’t a marketing moment — it’s a recognition of something that has been true all year. At Crave Romance Boutique, we’ve never needed a month to remind us that every body, every identity, and every expression of desire deserves a welcoming, judgment-free space. But we’re glad the calendar gives us a reason to say it louder.
This is our love letter to the Lafayette LGBTQ+ community — and to everyone across Acadiana and beyond who has ever walked into a store wondering if they’d be seen.

Why Inclusive Sexual Wellness Matters
Sexual wellness doesn’t look the same for everyone. That seems obvious when you say it out loud — but the adult retail industry has historically been built around a very narrow definition of who it’s for. Products designed for straight, cisgender bodies. Marketing that treats queer desire as an afterthought or a niche. Staff who don’t know the difference between what works for a lesbian couple and what works for a trans man and his partner.
We’ve always tried to do better than that. And this Pride Month, we want to talk about what inclusive sexual wellness actually looks like — because it matters, and because our community deserves real information, not platitudes.

The beautiful truth about sexual wellness in 2026 is that the product landscape has finally started to catch up with the diversity of human bodies and desires. Here’s what we’re loving right now across the LGBTQ+ spectrum:

Our Community Room Is Your Community Room
Crave’s community room has hosted some of Lafayette’s most inclusive adult education programming — and that’s by design. Organizations like ALL of Acadiana, Lafayette TNG, and Acadiana Rope Education have all made their home here. These are spaces where queer people, kinky people, curious people, and everyone in between can gather, learn, and connect without having to explain themselves.
